Feed the homeless to the hungry

The first sign of warmer weather is that the pan handlers come out of hibernation.  I get hit up for change about 2-3 times on my way from the car to the office, and 3-4 times on my way back to the car again every day.  When there were just a couple I would sometimes give out a buck here or there, but now I've either become stingy or fatigued - not sure which - but I no longer bother making eye contact with them now.  I just bustle past with a quick, "Sorry, no change."
