It's been a week and so far I'm sold.
Feb. 20th, 2004 01:40 pmI have been playing around with the Firefox browser this week after reading good things about it here, and I'm going to tentatively add my name to the list of converts. The test will be if I'm still using this browser a month from now.
It doesn't do everything that I could in IE (especially some of the things on our Intranet site at work), and some of the things that it does do aren't as seamless as they are in IE, but I really like some of the extra features that it has. I miss the ad-blocking that I had patched into IE, but I've done that trick with the host file which replaces the annoying, blinking, jumping, flashing ads with little broken image icons. I can live with that.
