Something finally pushed Katrina off the headline news on the radio this morning...
Somebody filched 1200 head of sheep from a local farm the other night.
They don't know who did it, nor how he did it undetected.
Police also refuse to confirm or deny if
fetlock is a suspect.
[Edit: (groan) I just noticed the headline on this story reads, "Sheep still on the lam."]

How the h*ck is the thieves going to dispose of so many sheep?
Not only do you need a veritable convoy of trucks to transport them, but you need a big slaughterhouse(With freezers and trained butchers) to process them.
Selling them as livestock is out of the question as any farmer with ANY brains at all will demand papers from a veterinarian.
And if they can't get them processed immediately, they'll need a LOT of feed, too....
The whole heist is either an insurance scam or there are som very, very baaaaa criminals out there...
