Approached by a user a few minutes ago who was having trouble with his computer.

Problem: I moved to a new desk, and everything on the screen is kind of faded and too small to read.
Solution: Turned up contrast on monitor and changed screen resolution to 1024 x 768.
Status: Case closed.

The computer-illiterati have landed.
