...I cringe when certain people stop by my desk to talk.  I'm not antisocial, and atara will readily attest to the fact that I am not fastidiously neat, but my blood pressure jumped a few notches when he thumped down his overfilled, dripping coffee mug on my desk and then started jabbing my screen with his greasy fore finger.

Two things that I really don't like are industrial-grade coffee rings on my desk, and greasy smudges on my screen.  It is both fortunate and unfortunate that I lack the power to make people's heads explode by force of will.  It would be entertaining, to be sure, but then I'd have an even bigger mess to clean up.

Which is a fortunate thing. Otherwise, I imagine a tall office building somewhere in Illinois where the walls are painted red...
