Gah.  I was supposed to have a first-quarter performance review today, but for some reason the appointment didn't show up on my calendar, so I forgot about it until this morning.  I have been doing the equivalent of cramming for a mid-term exam, and things were going well until I tried to get into the database and update my electronic profile.  It seems that a lot of people are having their quarterly reviews and in the process of trying to all update their profiles at the same time, they have managed to bring the database to its knees. 

Click... wait... wait... wait... wait... timeout.
Click... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... timeout.

I talked to the boss about this and he agreed to push the review back to next week.  What a swell guy!

Haha, he probably couldn't access his stuff to get it ready either.
