New light

We've been talking for a while about replacing the ugly light out in the hall. Tonight while we were out killing time before dinner, we decided to wander into a lighting store up in the west end of town. They had a very nice light fixture in there, for a fairly good price that we passed on the last time we were in there because we didn't think that it would cast enough light for the hall. This evening it was apparently casting more light or something because we decided to buy it. Conrary to our earlier misgivings it casts plenty of light.


As an added bonus it looks really cool!

Yeah, that's a spaceship which turns up all the time in Star Trek TNG. Like the one where they lose all their memories and get fooled into helping some aliens fight a war, and there's that extra guy on the bridge who's one of them.. Got a picture of it somewhere :)
