plonqThis little camera does not owe us anything. Inset to the top left of the picture is our ghetto light box. One of my projects this winter is to build a larger one with better lighting.
I will probably charge up and use this camera while my main one is in the shop (I need to take it in for a cleaning - the sensor is very dusty). Earlier this evening I took a reference photo and configured the camera to map out dust specs from future shots. The difference in this shot was quite remarkable.
We stopped at a little Mexican restaurant on our way home from work this evening. Our original plan had been to come home and barbecue some pork, but we were both in the mood for some Canadian bastardization of Mexican cuisine. As a compromise I ordered a pork burrito called El Señor. It was delicious, but about 1/4 of the way through it I concluded that there was no way I was going to be able to finish the burrito and walk out of there after, so I packaged up the second half of it for another meal.
On a whim, I weighed the Styrofoam container holding the other half of the burrito after we got home, and by my estimate the original burrito was just over three pounds. It's no wonder I was full halfway through it!
