plonq: (Blank Mood)
[personal profile] plonq
Although I didn't actually help to eat it, I have to comment on the schnitzel platter.  It was billed as a meal for three, but we could have fed five people from that platter and still had food left over.  I somehow managed to finish my entrée, but Sarah brought home a fair percent of hers.  The portions were very generous (as one review of the restaurant gushed, "it is impossible to walk away hungry.") but I think it was the Blätterteigpastetchen gefüllt mit kalbsragout appetiser that pushed us over the limit.

The restaurant was very friendly and indulgent, even planting a (traditional?) green, plastic hat on [livejournal.com profile] atara's head and snapping a complementary Polaroid of her with her birthday cake.

I think she has the picture hidden away somewhere to keep me from scanning and posting it.
