Since I didn't post one of these yesterday, you get "treated" two two of them today.

This is what -25 looks like.

Yesterday's was remarkably dull, so I am putting it behind a cut.

This is what the roads look like through most of the winter here. The only reason I used this picture rather than trying to find something better is because I am lazy, and because I like the effect of the motion blur. I snapped this out the front windshield of the car, and was surprised at how well it turned out for such a long shutter length.

And here's a bonus picture. This is the one that didn't make the cut for my January 7th shot. I decided I can get cat pictures any day of the year.

I quite like the street photo; I'm big on that colouring.

I also think the blur is a nice effect... it's fairly subtle in that I had to do a double-take to realise that it wasn't an exposure effect.

It's a genuine motion blur too. I just pointed the camera out the front window of the VW as we were driving home yesterday.

Long(er) exposure during "magic hour". Makes for darn nice pictures.

Ha, you got me on that. At first when I read "motion blur" I thought of the filter... that's why I really had to look, as it seemed so natural and seamless.

And well, I guess it was!

'Tis very cool.
