Something evil is afoot

I have a mug of pens that I keep on my desk, all of which have worked reliably for years. In the last couple of days when I have needed a pen, the tip has been dry on every single one of them. How can every pen go dry at the same time? They worked fine until I moved into this little office.

Couple that with the occasional whiff of brimstone, and faint sounds of screaming that occasionally wafts from the poorly-sealed portal to Hades in the corner of the office and one might be forgiven for thinking that evil afoot.

(Well, the part about the pens is true anyway.)

Maybe someone is pulling a prank on you? Or are your pens fairly non-standard?

This is all assuming, of course, that your co-workers have enough brain matter to pull off a stupid prank.
