I'm still not quite sure how it happened, but shortly after this picture was taken, Merry became agitated because she had somehow managed to wrap my headphone cord completely around herself.
There may have been some tummy fuzzling going on just prior to this picture being taken, so I guess I'm partly guilty for encouraging her to worm her way in behind the keyboard in the first place. I don't mind when she lies there, but she gets very squirmy when she's happy, and start hitting keys with her elbows, or flomping her tail over onto the mouse.
I love the tactile feel of the IBM M keyboard. 20 years from now I will probably have a computer with neural inputs, and this vintage IBM keyboard.
Not only does it have a solid feel when I type, but it's heavy enough to double as a weapon in a pinch.
Well, I don't have a closet full of them, but I have a few stashed away. I love those keyboards! Even though they are quite LOUD. when you hit a key, you know it ^_^
Fortunately, you can buy them brand new from Unicomp They are still being made in Lexington Kentucky! I just bought one from them because I wanted a USB connector. I love it and am typing on it this very moment ^_^
