We went and caught Cirque du Soleil's acid-like mind trip called DELIRIUM.

Cirque du Soleil

It's hard to describe what we just saw this evening. What I was expecting before the show was a loose theme, with lots of impressive acrobatics and outrageous costumes set to a poppy soundtrack.

What we got was sensory overload.

It's hard to describe it as anything short of a 2-hour brain-fuck -- with a loose theme, lots of singing and dancing, and occasional impressive acrobatics tossed into the mix. It wasn't quite what I'd been expecting, perhaps, but I liked it a lot.

That sounds like a show I'll have to see when they get back down here. :)

We went to see the show on Friday and were pretty blown away! I also quite liked the opening act (Nitza), and how they also performed in the main show as well!

I think my only complaint would actually be about the seats in the MTS Centre; my back started to get a bit sore 2/3 of the way through... but the show was wonderful!

My back was killing me through most of the show. I guess it wasn't just me then.
