I hate in-company politics.
The sign on our door currently reads:
One of the managers popped his head in here briefly this afternoon and said that the director wants us to remove the sign before tomorrow. The way he put it was, "He's going to come by here later and ask you to remove the sign. I'd ask on his behalf, but I don't want to act as his personal secretary." The company CEO is coming through here tomorrow, and they don't want to risk offending him on the off-chance that he wanders by our office and sees the current sign.
I suppose I can see how that sign would be offensive on a number of levels.
(Well, not really.)
The sign on our door currently reads:
Mad Scientists
(Or slightly indignant ones at least.)
