Of dreams and dragons

Last night I dreamt that they'd brought in a dragon to our local zoo.  We didn't know that there would be a dragon there, but it was very cool.  There was quite a crowd gathered around to check it out, and it rewarded their attention with repeated self-conflagration.  It would burst afire, sending large billowing flames into the wind, and then douse itself again.  Fortunately I had the camera along and I got a lot of good pictures.

I felt a little bad though because there was a very cute adolescent black jaguar cub that was trying to get my attention.  It kept reaching out of its pen and batting at my arm and mewling.  I'd originally gone up to take a few pictures of it when I noticed the dragon and got completely side-tracked.  I finally patted it on the head and was just focusing the camera on it when the dragon set itself alight again and I turned to snap some more pictures.  Poor little guy was a little put off that he couldn't get anyone's attention.
