Something positive

This addresses a long-standing hole in the Canucks roster. Unless the team falls completely apart in the off season, they may actually be a serious contender for the first time in a few years.

Date: 2006-06-30 07:03 pm (UTC)It looks like the Canucks will probably be losing Jovanoski as well - though he has been playing well below his potential the past couple of years. On the upside, they have a decent defense corp without him, and that will free up a bit of cap room after the Luongo signing. I'm not entirely up on the FA market this year, but I'm sure there are some decent signable offensive-defensemen out there, and/or a decent winger to put with the twins.
Steve Moore was a blight on the game
