plonqI put on a gaudy, tie-dye shirt this morning with the intention of donning a conservative, work-safe sweater over it. As my first cup of coffee started kicking into gear, it occurred to me that I forgot the sweater. This shirt is so not appropriate attire for this office - especially not when I am supposed to be attending a mandatory seminar on "Respect in The Workplace".
I spoke with my boss about it this morning, and told him that I was going to blow off this seminar. "If it's really a corporate-mandated seminar then they will have one or two follow-up ones for people like me who missed them." He's cool with that.
