I wandered in the front door of the office this morning to the sight of several helium balloons lying pathetically on the floor.  Every time the subject of balloons came up, the two girls who were in charge of decorations would bubble on about helium balloons, and the rest of us would say, "Don't use helium, or if you do, then spend the extra for proper helium balloons because otherwise it will just leak out through the pores in no time."

They didn't listen.  They apparently bought the cheapest balloons they could find and filled them with helium...

... and now we have balloons on the floor.  They look really sad.
