I fell down the back stairs on my way out this morning.  I was just in mid-thought about how we needed to shovel the stairs when the necessity for the same was brought to my attention in a spectacular and painful way.  Fortunately the snow was there to break my fall, and the worst I have to show for it is a bruise across the buttocks where I landed.  Well, I assume I'm bruised there - I don't bend that way, so I can't readily inspect it for myself.
