-_-

I'm going to start off the new year all angsty and complaining.

  • To celebrate having finally shaken the cold I caught for MFF, I caught another cold for the new year.

  • I slipped on the ice outside Tim Horton's this morning and landed hard.  Ow.  I was sure I'd either cracked or sprained something.

  • I can't get the PDA to recognize our Exchange server at work.

  • The director is playing fast and loose with some delivery deadlines.

Since I don't want to leave things in imbalance, here is some counterpoint.

  • This cold seems to be much less severe.  Aside from a bit of stuffiness and a headache, I'm feeling much better today.

  • I hobbled around for awhile and eventually shook it off.  It still hurts a bit, but nothing more than my pride appears to be damaged.

  • I gave up trying to configure it and just told it to go ahead and sync.  Lo and behold, it updated my contacts and calendar entries.  Hmph.

  • He let his eagerness to see this project impair his better judgement.  The gentle voice of reason won out in the end.

Two hours in and that's my day so far.

Y'know, as I was driving in today (listening to CBC1) it occurred to me that it had been a while since I had seen any posts from you or [livejournal.com profile] atara, and I hoped nothing untoward had occurred. Good to hear that things are going, if not stellar, at least not badly.

The sad fact is that I did nothing post-worthy in my week-and-a-half off work. In a way I suppose that's a good thing as well. Later today or tomorrow (probably tomorrow) I'll post a Christmas update of sorts.

Have you experiences the dreaded doubling, yet?

No... not yet anyway.
