plonq | Foster cats

We returned the latest foster cats last night. We won't be taking in any new ones until the new year, so sometime this weekend we'll clean up the room where we were keeping them and open it back up to our regular cats.

I'm left wishing that I'd spent a bit more time with them when we had them, but for most of the time that we had them, Morgana was too sick to be sociable, and Merlin was too psychotic to be bearable. They're both nice cats in very different ways. Morgana is a very friendly, sociable cat who - when she's not gasping for breath and snotting all over the place - loves a lap. She'll be a perfect companion for a couch potato. Merlin is... a kitten. He's friendly and outgoing, but he's also VERY rambunctious, and he plays rough. The last time I heard him purr was when Morgana was nursing him (before she got too sick to do that).

In other news, Kasia (our previous foster cat) got adopted! I hope she went to a good home.
