Welcome back my little friends.

I noticed some time back that my little mood icons had stopped working, but I chocked it up to some change in the way that LJ handles mood icons and added it to my list of things to fix when I have time.

When I started digging into it this evening, I discovered that it was not LJ that had changed, but the web site that hosts my images. My person web page has been hosted on my IP servers for over a decade, but apparently they decided to get out of the web hosting business and quietly shut it down without warning. The only things I had up there - besides my mood icons - were my archive of Plonq stories, and my First Church of Simba.

Now I need to add "check archive.org to see if I can find my stuff up there" to my next list of tasks.
