Pre-Plonqmas

After writing very little for the past while, I have one story finished, and another on the go. My annual Plonqmas story is currently in the capable hands of my editor, and the other has just reached the part where the plot is about to get interesting.

This year's Christmas story is a subtle departure in the formula from earlier ones, but I think it works, and my editor liked it on first read. Whether it soars like an eagle, or more like a lead sinker remains to be seen once I post it here. Since I don't expect my editor to have much of a chance to work on it until tomorrow or the weekend, I shan't promise anything before Saturday.

My working title is: The Unconscionable Consequences of Inconsequentiality
