Not!

This stupid application and it's stupid logic rules for its filters (grumblegrumble).

It doesn't like this: =<Variable> Not Inlist(Condition1, Condition2, Condition3, ...)
It does like this: =Not(<Variable> InList(Condition1, Condition2, Condition3, ...))

There is probably some subtle difference in the logic of those two statements that eludes my under-coffeed brain at the moment. If I had my way, the logical modifier would be added to the end like this:

=<Variable> Inlist(Condition1, Condition2, Condition3, ...) <Pause> NOT!

Here is a good example showing why I spend so much effort in doing colour balance in my photos. The one on the left is taken with the camera's colour balance set to "Auto". The one on the right is set to Manual, and I used the grey card in the background as a reference. All things considered, the one on the right is pretty good - if a bit on the cool side.

Incidentally, this is also why I hate shooting under CF lights. They seem to put out just about the worst lighting for colour photography. I admit that some of the black and white pictures I have posted are because I gave up trying to balance the colour and simply removed it. I did not do that here because it would have defeated the purpose of this shot.

Other than the colour balance, all other settings on these shots were the same: ISO250, f/2.8 at 1/60th of a second. Other than cropping them and pasting them together, I did no other software modifications to these pictures. These are the jpegs as they came from the camera.
