I learned the answer to a pressing question I'd had about working this early shift: Tim Hortons does not open before 6.

This cat has no caffeine.

Ack!

[Edit: I have since learned that they open sometime around 6:30]

Weird dreams

Weirdness has plagued my dreams of late.  Last night I dreamt that I was finally given my company-issue switchblade at work.  I remember thinking it's about time in the dream.

Upon waking, I am left wondering what possible good could come from issuing switchblades to all of our employees.  It seems like a bad idea on too many levels to enumerate.

This was exactly not the article to be reading while I was sipping a cuppa tomato soup just now.
