atara took Jean Grey (our latest foster cat) back to the shelter last night. Jean was actually a return guest in our house - she'd had two kittens that needed to be fattened up a bit for adoption. When we returned them to the shelter, they spayed Jean and bobbed the tip of her tail. Just as she was recovering from that, she came down with a very snotty respiratory infection. The poor cat needed a place to stay where she could recover from her miseries and have people force horrid medicine down her throat every day. We seemed to be just the gullible people to take on something like that, and suddenly she was back in our lives again.
Jean is a very friendly, affectionate and playful cat who doesn't seem to understand the concept of "hold still for at least one second", so it was very hard to get a picture of her. I have lots of pictures of blurry ears, or a cat rump disappearing off the side of the frame, but if you snap enough shots you'll eventually get at least one keeper. Anyway, behind the cuts are some decent pictures of our last batch of foster cats.
( ZOMG KITTENS! MEW!MEW!MEW! )
