Queen of the North goes south...

Apparently QotN sunk last night.  Fortunately there were only 102 passengers and crew on her at the time, and they were all rescued and accounted for.

The inside passage was one of those ferry runs that I never took when I lived out there, but it was always on my "do this some day" list.  I'm glad to hear that all of the people escaped intact.  I hope there weren't any pets trapped down on the car deck.  =(

My boss is off indefinitely with a spiral fracture in his arm.  Our outside sources tell us that it happened during his judo lessons.  One of my co-workers commented on the situation.

"Ya, I knew he was into that yoga and stuff, so I'm not surprised."

... a spiral fracture from yoga?  Extreme yoga perhaps - or full-contact yoga.  I'm not saying that yoga isn't without its injuries, but I've never associated it with spiral fractures.
