I dreamt last night that I got volunteered to do a public reading of one of my stories at a convention.  I only learned about the public reading when unclekage shoved a bound copy of the story into my hands and loudly announced to everyone in the room that I had volunteered to read one of my stories aloud.  Anybody who has ever heard me struggle through a public reading will know why this is a bad thing, but I didn't want to make him look bad by refusing, so I gamely took the booklet up to the front of the room and began to read.  I got a few pages into it before I realized, to my horror, that they had printed off a story that I hadn't finished.

Then the cat woke me up.
