plonq: (Plonq @ Work)
Yesterday was 18 hours of various flights and meetings, with a couple of beers tossed into the mix near the end of the day.

I'm nearly finished my first cup of coffee this morning and I have concluded that it is going to take more than one cup to get me back on the rails today.
plonq: (Mysterious Mood)
I found an old CD kicking around recently, and I found a goldmine of stuff that I thought was long gone in a system crash.  While a lot of it is stuff that I'd never have missed anyway, I DID find some old Plonq sketches that, as far as I know, have never been seen by anyone but me and the artist.  He was going to illustrate one of my stories, but he fell off the fact of the earth without ever completing the project beyond some preliminary sketches.

I'd like to show the pictures here, but I have no idea how I could go about contacting an artist who has effectively fallen through the earth's crust.  Maybe I'll put up a couple of them here later behind a friends cut and trust you folks not to distribute them.

Something else I found was 115+ old pictures by [livejournal.com profile] melskunk from a time when I was all fanboy over her work.  It was pretty much everything she had on Yerf (or maybe it was still SCFA at the time) up to about 1997.  Wasn't she looking for some of her older stuff after Yerf went teats up?

I also found a handful of pictures by Abe Groter (who is another artist who vanished from sight a few years ago), and a few old pics by [livejournal.com profile] amarafox. I apparently created this CD back in late 1999, so that puts an upper limit on the age of any of the pictures.
