Ya - I jumped all over it the first time. That is, if you interpret "jumped all over" to mean "filed and ignored". Maybe I'm getting old and jaded, but I get tired of having to deal with inane, vague requests like this. It's to the point where I sometimes just toss them into File 13 and wait for them to trace me on it.

I managed to sign off a simple case today, that had started half a year ago...
A small office of ours(A site where they're boring an undersea tunnel) received an A3 capable HP color laserjet with an extra tray for the A3 delivered separately...
Of course it refused to acknowledge the A3 tray, and since it was a 3hour(and two ferries) trip one way, I tried to talk the users thorugh the diagnostics.
They of course NEVER had time to do it, but they DID have time to bitch about it...
(Incidentally, the time I went there to set up the network, a dump-truck backed over my car, so I REALLY didn't feel like returning)
Anyway, before my vacation, I sent a replacement tray, and today they FINALLY tested it... (I had the whole of July as vacation. I felt I deserved it... )
Everyone wants their problems solved, but to help resolve them? Nahh....
