Add one of these to my growing list of geeky things I'd like to own.

Geeky goodness!

Preferably the one in blue.

Okay...so how does one tell time with it? :)

I think... no it can't be, nobody could possibly have elevated to that peak of dorkdom...

...a binary watch? By my calculations, it's currently 10:15- or, 1010:001111

Erm, ahem. I already have one of these in a desktop model. On the other hand I've never claimed to be anythign but a dork. I can't deny it, so I may as well revel in it.

And yes, you have read the time correctly.

From top to bottom and right to left.

1010 = 10
001111 = 15

Thus it's 10:15

It's sort of like RPN... only totally different. If that doesn't make any sense then blame the industrial cold meds I'm taking today.

The kind of person who buys a watch like this typically doesn't worry about dates anyway.

Nummy! I've seen other binary LED watches, but this one is less tacky and more geeky. ^^

*hugs his hp35 calculator (1973), which still works!
...and uses his hp15c, which is slightly more practical :)

Heh. It's nice to be able to toss out a term like RPN and actually have somebody know what I mean. If I was to mention it in the office, with only a couple of notable exceptions, I'd get nothing but blank stares.
