The stairwell in the parkade smelled freshly of urine this morning.  Every time the smell starts to fade, somebody staggers in and renews it again.  It finally occurred to me that this might not be random; the winos are scent-marking their territory.

If it wasn't for all the moisture where you are, you could wire a welcome mat to a car battery. people could step on it all day, but connect the wires by peeing on it ... well, that would happen only once per wino. Think of it as neutering strays.
