No doubt because it's Netscape overhauled. Back during Netscape vs. IE, I remember IE stopped supporting the blink tag after 4.0 or something, while Netscape always continued support for it...

What is a blink tag and how come nothing is blinking on your post? :-o

The blink tag is one that Netscape introduced into its HTML specs many years back. I think that (mercifully) many modern browsers no longer support it.

As a web-designer tool it was a good way to earn instant scorn.
