plonq: (Scared Mood)

She has the voice of a meadowlark...

... being run through a wood chipper. Listen and despair.

A cookie to anyone who can last through the entire sample of "I Want to Hold Your Hand".

Wow! My friend exposed me to her singing before, but I'd forgotten her name so I couldn't share..!

Thanks so much for that, you have no idea how many peoples' lives you have potentially changed!!

Yay!

A friend introduced me to her melodic delights recently. I wonder if she and William Hung (http://www.williamhung.net/) are open to doing duets? They could probably turn some old Christmas standards into instant classics.

*addicts all his siblings! :D

It's like picking a scab. It hurts, but you just can't stop. One of these days I'll post some select samples from my Pat Boone album.

ROFLOLOL!
She sings just like an aunt of me, who coincidentially thinks she's great at singing

(well, she might've been once, she did get a scholarship in a College in San Antonio for her singing, but gosh, she's not anymore x.x)

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)
She reminds me of somebody from my old, church-going days. There was a lady who sang very much like her. We usually tried to sit far enough away from her so that she'd get drowned out by the rest of the congregation, but if we arrived too late we didn't always have that luxury available to us. It never occured to me until much later that everyone else in the church was doing the same thing. She created her own exclusion zone.

*turns off the MP3 player in a cold sweat*

5 seconds. This is the stuff they play to music lovers in Hell.

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the scariest thing on the site is the blurb at the top which reads, "
Wing has released 9 albums so far"

[identity profile] pierrekrahn.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah I noticed that too

[identity profile] neowolf2.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 01:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"I see my rendition of 'My Old Kentucky Home' has brought tears to your eyes. Are you from Kentucky?"

"No, I'm a music lover."

[identity profile] dronon.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, I've got a much higher tolerance level... I want to hear the whole track! This wasn't too painful at all. I was expecting a high-pitched squeaking voice like nails on a chalkboard - I can't stand that kind of voice. Her voice isn't piercing... she manages to hold a few of her notes, but unfortunately those few happen to be all the wrong ones.

You want true Beatles pain, search out any of the German covers of their songs by Klaus Beyer. Ouch. I speak from experience.

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
She's not the worst I've ever heard. It's like [livejournal.com profile] furahi said, she sounds like that sweet old aunt who can't quite hold a tune or keep time with the music.

[identity profile] marmelmm.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
she manages to hold a few of her notes, but unfortunately those few happen to be all the wrong ones.

That needs to be on the top of Wing's page. LOL!

[identity profile] pierrekrahn.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 05:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Is this a well executed satire bit? Or, sadly, is this a real effort to release 9 (nine) albums? :(

[identity profile] marmelmm.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, got halfway through the sample and my eardrums committed seppuku.

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 11:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yet for all that I'd listen to her over Yoko Ono.

[identity profile] farlo.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
She's awesome - just like Mr. Hung, and the Fat Jedi kid. They have their dreams. She sings like a bird, it just isn't a songbird. Truly, she sings like nobody's listening.

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 12:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Truly, she sings like nobody's listening.

That sounds like one of the left-handed comments you might read in a review.

"She frees the music from the artificial constraints of pitch and rhythm!"

"An unforgettable performance!"

[identity profile] farlo.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Or - "Taking the music in a new direction, and a whole new level".

^_^

... meaning, "in a handbasket to the tenth cirle of Hell", but in a nice way.

[identity profile] gedrean.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
ROFL!

[identity profile] shockwave77598.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, I now have a new definition for the word "Awful"

It's like listening to dozens of fingernails scratch on dozens of carefully tuned chalkboards.

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 12:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. That actually sounds like something you might actually get from some minimalist artist from NYC. Performed by mimes, of course.

[identity profile] twoolfe.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
OH GAWD make it stop.
First thing I've heard worse than Nagas laugh.
T.

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 12:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh. You haven't heard anything from my Pat Boone album, have you? He manages to hit the right notes, yet somehow scores higher on the wrongness scale.

[identity profile] pierrekrahn.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmmm....
just thought of something.

T'would be a good prank to set this as someone's start up sound :)

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 12:08 pm (UTC)(link)
If the site isn't blocked by our corporate firewall then I am going to expose my co-workers to her delights this morning.

[identity profile] orleans.livejournal.com 2005-04-17 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
That's actually really, really funny. I couldn't stop laughing. :D

[identity profile] plonq.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Most people who can't sing know that they can't sing. Listening to her is like watching a blind bus driver during rush hour. It's not a matter of if, but how bad can it get?

[identity profile] gedrean.livejournal.com 2005-04-28 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
I hate to sound offensive but it's like listening to a retarded deaf girl who was given the wrong sheet music and told what the lyrics were.
