plonqMy quarterly review went well, with the notable exception of my Big Project™. The girl who was supposed to be my partner in this project has been moved to a different position, and the department that I was supposed to be doing this project for is in the midst of an internal re-org. Let's just say that my Big Project™ is on Permanent Hiatus™.
We had a few other mid-to-large projects coming down the pipe toward our group that would have suited me too, but the flow seems to have dried up as people deal with re-orgs. There's another medium-sized project that will come up sometime around mid-May, but I need to justify my existence until then. Ah well, I guess I'll have to stop brushing away so much of the ad hoc stuff coming my way.
