I don't know if this picture has been Photoshopped or not, but it's pretty amusing.  You know you're in Canada when, after a night of hard drinking, you open your front door in the morning...

First winter I was in Maine, 1980-81, we had a very bad winter. It had many snow storms, with high winds and frigid temperatures. A lot of the records set during that winter was just approached by this past major cold snaps.

There's a picture of me sleding from that winter.

The start of the 'sled' hill was actually the first floor roof. The wind had drifted the snow against the house much like the picture here shows. :)
